Reflections From Others

When I first met Kae’Mon it was around the 7th grade. He always stayed to himself, just like me, but we started talking more and it turns out he was more like me than I thought. We both used to laugh at nothing for no reason, and we had the same humor. He became my best friend after that. We used to take the bus to my house everyday after school and workout in my garage, or go to the park down the street from my house.

We got so close that my mom and brother would just let him in the house – even when I wasn’t there my home was his home. We made alot of memories in my garage from lifting weights to having laughs. My house use to be the spot for us to hangout. I miss those days – I’ll do anything to get them back.

Kae’Mon was spiritually intelligent, and he was emotionally intelligent. He loved making beats – he was one of the best producers I knew. He also loved to rap and was pretty good at it. I wish we would’ve finally gotten to make music like we planned. I do it for him… it hurts to know that what we had planned and what we could’ve done with music is gone forever.

Miss you forever Kae’Mon.”
